OK. So I read the twilight books this summer and yes I enjoyed them but I probably didn't get as excited about them as some people or at least it seems that way with all this hype over the movie I've been hearing. I do plan on seeing the movie eventually but what I know is that Mike is an Edward. He has always been an Edward. Maybe he isn't a vampire (well maybe sometimes! :) thankfully that is all he lacks of the character Edward. Since my surgery he has taken care of everything. The cooking, cleaning, getting kids ready for school including doing their hair and making breakfast, vacuuming, cleaning up vomit, caring for a sick throwing up baby all night, changing the 2 year olds bed sheets when she has an accident and washing them, laundry, you name it and he has done it. Oh, and I should mention that he hasn't complained once. He is so awesome. The only thing he said was after day 3 and at about 9:00 that night he told me he was completely exhausted. He has always appreciated what I do at home but I think more than ever he does now. He is awesome that is all I can say. He is an Edward!

Another Back Surgery!
Yes it is my second one and it is awful. I found out two weeks ago that I needed it and since my insurance starts over in January and the doctor was booked I had to get right in. I was pretty much on standby but they were pretty sure he would do it, so Friday night at 5:00 P.M. they rolled my in and I was back in my hospital room by 7 p.m. THAT WAS THE EASY PART! Now I can't bend, lift, twist or sit (BLTS) for 3 months. Not so hard if you don't have an 8 month old and loads and loads of laundry to do every week. It is a good thing that I have such a wonderful husband or this would not fly. He is absolutely wonderful. Today he did all the laundry. (He is taking a few days off from work). He doesn't complain at all, well except when he got mad at one of the kids the other night and said Damn and I yelled into the back room for him to shut up cause my parents were at the door and honestly couldn't get out fast enough. It was almost funny. I think they thought we were at our breaking point, but that is just us. He thought they had already left :) Oh well, we got through it once and we will get through it again. I told him to just shoot me. If I was a horse they would.

IT'S DONE!!!
The basement is finally done. I am so excited. I have waited so long for this. Now I have this wonderful big living room with fireplace and it also has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, fruit room, and of course the other room or as Mike calls it "The Man Cave" for all his stuff. I am just excited to use one of the rooms as a toy room. The couch is still missing two pieces that haven't come yet but I love it.
The best part is this pod chair. It swivels. T.V., Fireplace, T.V. Fireplace, back and forth. Mike and I fit very comfortable together in it. (Don't Ask). The kids already know that this is mom and dad's chair and not theirs. I love it!
View from the back of the room.
