It's been a long time since I updated, but better late than never right? Well this is Mike and getting ready to leave the house for our races. Mike ran the 1/2 marathon and I ran the 5K. It was a lot of fun. I placed fourth in my age group and 29th overall. Mike placed 33rd in his age group and 159th overall. My race had not quite 200 people in it. Mikes had over 1,000. Mike is ready for the next one already.

Taylyr and Kodi were in the stadium of fire for the 4th of July. They worked really hard to learn the dance and did a great job. Way to go girls. They had a great time and best of all got to see Hannah Montana!!!

I wanted to ride in a hot air balloon with Sadie but she wouldn't get in so I sent Taylyr and Kodi instead. They had a great time!
Captain Mike in his beloved boat. He has wanted one forever! Let me just say that I was very doped up on Versaid when this purchase was made. (Really, I am not kidding!).
Okay, so I love the boat too. Sadie loves it too but I haven't gotten her out to do any water sports. She loves to swim in the water next to it and that is about all.
Mike and Ashtyn love to fish. This is the fish Ashtyn caught at Otter Creek. He loves fishing and is so patient. He will sit there so quiet until he feels a fish on and then he goes crazy. He loves it.
Quayden and Ashtyn had a sleepover. I laughed when they came out with balls in their shirts. What little turkeys. They are wild ones. They have so much fun together. Yes that is a wig that Quayden has on.
I love Porsha's bumbo. She likes it too. She is such a sweet little girl.
Happy 7th birthday Sadie. Kyla told me about the bounce house so of course we had to get it. Sadie loved it! Thanks Kyla. The only bad thing was Sadie did not want to take it back!

Look really close and you can see a little diamond in Porsha's ear. I must tell about the nightmare of it all. I went in to Gem Jewelers in Cedar City on Thursday to pick up two rings I was having repaired and they were piercing a little girls ear. I was planning on getting Porsha's done and they said they would do it. Well, the guy who pierced her ears missed on the second ear and put it way back. At first I thought he was joking but then I realized he wasn't. I wanted to cry. I was sure I couldn't do it again. Well I had him do it again and I am telling you it almost KILLED me. Porsha will never remeber it but I am scarred for LIFE! Had this happened on my first baby I am quite positive my kids would not have earrings until they were 18! Just another reason I am glad she is my last.
I also called my mom to tell her and told her it just broke my heart. Afterwards Ashtyn, my little 4 year old, told me that he had lost his heart too. It was way too cute. Later he asked me if I had my heart again and I told him yes. He said he had his again too. He was there when they pierced it and saw the whole thing. He really felt bad. Mike asked him if he wanted his pierced and he said a big NO! I am sure he is very glad he is a boy.

I was laying down with the kids to take a nap and Halle had to go to the bathroom. She was in there forever and I kept hollering for her to hurry up. Finally I got up to see what in the world was taking so long and there she was on the pot with Mike's popular science magazine. I thought it was so funny I hurried and took a picture.
We went to Mikes parents house for Memorial weekend. We fried and turkey and had a really fun time. Sadie got upset because she wanted some jeans and all she had was shorts so grandma Stevens gave her a pair of her capris. Well they didn't last too long but they gave us a few minutes of peace anyway.

CONGRATULATIONS SADIE!!! Sadie graduated from kindergarten on Wednesday night May 21st. This picture is of mom, Halle, and Sadie all doing the chicken dance with the other kids and parents in her class. This is Sadie's favorite dance. She also got the "Sweetheart" award for being such a sweetheart. We ate sloppy joes and salad and had dessert. It was really fun. We love you Sadie!

WAY TO GO TAYLYR!!! Taylyr holding her ribbons she got from the track meet. Taylyr placed in every event she entered at the Elementary track meet. She took first place in the mile, first place in the high jump, second place in the relay and third place in the long jump. There were five schools there: Bryce Valley, Panguitch, Escalante, Boulder, and Antimony. Taylyr worked so hard and really trained. I would follow her and Kodi and the other kids after school running. Taylyr would usually run two miles after school. Kodi will be in 4th grade next year and be able to compete. We are so proud of you Taylyr and recognize all the hard work and effort you put in to doing your best. WAY TO GO!!!
